The Grow East Congress series are a joint project of Dr. Manfred Berger, former CEO of Draftfcb Partners and founder of the Think-Tank-NEUSICHT, Ass.Prof. Dr. Arnold Schuh, Director of the Competence Center for Emerging Markets & CEE at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO-Aussenwirtschaft).
This is already the 8th Congress. Since its start in 2007 we have addressed CEE management topics such as restarting growth, managing complexity, competing against local heroes or finding winning business concepts in CEE.
The main goal of this congress series is to provide insights into current developments in the emerging Europe and to highlight the challenges that international and local companies face when expanding into and competing in CEE markets. Furthermore, we shed light on successful innovative firms from Austria and CEE that shape markets and industries in the region and beyond.
Grow East offers a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between representatives of foreign companies operating in CEE, outstanding local firms and entrepreneurs, academics and business students with a strong interest in the emerging markets of this region.
